LRC Membership

The Learning Resource Centre provides a variety of membership options tailored to meet the needs of different users. These memberships are structured based on the category or status of the user, ensuring that everyone—from students and faculty to external researchers or community members—has access to the resources and services that best suit their requirements. Each type of membership comes with specific privileges, access levels, and durations, allowing users to benefit from the Centre’s collections, study spaces, digital resources, and other learning facilities in a way that aligns with their individual needs.

Student Membership

Once the Students are admitted to the courses, their personal details and the course being pursued are automatically transferred to Library Software-Libsuite. The institute's Identity cards issued to them bear the library barcodes that enable them to use library facilities. They can borrow two books at a time for the period of up to one week.They can get the due date for their books extended for a further period of one more week, provided these books are not reserved or on demand by other members.

Core Faculty / Visiting Faculty / Staff

Core Faculty, Visiting Faculty as well as Staff can become the member of the LRC. They will have to fill up the Membership form and have to take authorized signature of the Director and the Librarian. The LRC will generate the barcode for new Faculty/ Visiting Faculty which will be pasted on their Identity cards that enable them to use Library facilities.
