Admission Procedure

Admission Procedure

  • It is compulsory for every student who wants admission in Std. XI to register on the centralized admission website: mahafyjcadmissions.in
  • 50% seats are reserved for Hindi Linguistic Minority students.
  • Collect prospectus from office enquiry window.
  • Fill up the online college admission form on www.kmagrawalcollege.org/junior through student login and take a printout.
  • Admission form checking with required documents by Admission Committee (Reading Room No. 115).
  • Submit admission form along with fees at Cash Counter No. 10 (Ground Floor, General Office).

Documents Required

  • Original marksheet of the previous examination with two self-attested copies.
  • School Leaving Certificate (original) with two self-attested copies.
  • Self-attested copy of Caste Certificate (if applicable).
  • Original certificate for Sports/Cultural achievements (if applicable).
  • Certificates for other reserved categories such as Freedom Fighters, Government Job Transfers, Ex-Servicemen, etc.
  • Only Maharashtra Government Caste Certificates are valid.
  • Submit Aadhaar card copy along with the admission form.

Eligibility

  • Students who have passed S.S.C. (Std. X) or equivalent recognized exam are eligible for F.Y.J.C. (Std. XI).
  • Students from boards other than Maharashtra Board must obtain Eligibility Certificate from Maharashtra State Board, Vashi, Navi Mumbai within 10 days of admission.
  • Students from other boards who have not taken English as a subject are not eligible.
  • Admission is purely on merit basis.

  • Admission follows Maharashtra Govt. Education Department rules.

Status of Admission

  • All admissions are provisional until all documents are verified and approved.
  • Admission is valid only when granted by the Principal.
  • Admission is valid for one academic year and must be renewed each year.
  • Procedure as per Deputy Director of Education guidelines.

Cancellation of Admission

  • Cancellation only via prescribed form with fee receipts, I-card, library card & no-dues certificate.
  • If leaving in the second term, inform the Principal one week before the term starts; otherwise, full second term fees will apply.
  • Fee Deduction Rules:
    • Before term: Admission + Term + 1 Month Tuition + ID + Development Fees.
    • Within 30 days: 50% of total fees + Development Fee.
    • After August 31: No refund.

Refund of Deposits

Caution Money and IT Lab Deposits will be refunded when a student leaves the college or cancels admission as per rules. Unclaimed deposits after one year will be forfeited.

General Rules and Regulations & Examination
  • Terms will not be granted if the attendance is not satisfactory.
  • Mobile phones are strictly prohibited in the college campus.
  • A student must attend minimum 75% of lectures, practicals and tutorials in each term of the academic year, failing which she/he will not be allowed to appear for the annual examination.
  • Students should observe proper decorum in the classes and the college campus.
Examination Scheme
  • For students of Std. XI (F.Y.J.C.), examinations will be conducted as per the rules laid down by the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Examination.
  • For Std. XII (S.Y.J.C.) students, there will be Terminal and Preliminary Examinations prior to the H.S.C. Board Examination, conducted by the college on the pattern of the Board Examination. It is compulsory for all students to appear and pass the examinations.
Jr. College Working Hours
  • Science Faculty: 10.40 a.m. to 5.20 p.m.
  • Arts & Commerce Faculty: 12.00 noon to 5.20 p.m.
